OpenSlides Voting Walkthrough with DSA National

	<thumbnail_url>https://can2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/groups/default_facebook_images/000/141/209/original/sdsa-circle-lockup.png?1580533066</thumbnail_url>

Openslides is a voting tool for deliberative bodies used by large left political parties, such as SPD and DIE LiNKE in Germany, unions, membership organizations, etc. It is faster, more efficient, and more user friendly than the Airtable-voting system we just used, compliant with our bylaws, and has both voting and stack functionality. We will be using the OpenSlides voting system for our April General Membership meeting. You can check out a supplemental help document from national here If you are able to make it, we recommend attending the Open Slides voting training from national ahead of our next general membership meeting. If you can't, no worries, as there will be a shorter training at the meeting itself. However, the more people attend this training, the easier it will be on staff and our volunteers.
