These are quick and easy calls to the aides for about a dozen committee members in each committee. We'll provide email addresses as well. It is vitally important that we show opposition to SB 294 and SB 219 while they are in committee. Senate Bill 294 would instruct the Ohio Power Siting Board to set energy siting policy that would preclude solar and wind energy while boosting oil, gas, and nuclear. It is in the Senate Energy Committee. Senate Bill 219 would greatly speed up fracking of Ohio state parks and public lands, while providing numerous favors for the oil and gas industry. It has already passed in the Senate and needs to be stopped in the House Natural Resources Committee.
