Poli Ed: Democracy Part 2 - History and Structure of DSA

	<thumbnail_url>https://can2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/events/photos/003/705/110/normal/2026.11.22_Poli_Ed_Poster.jpg</thumbnail_url>

How democratic is DSA itself? This session looks at where the organization came from and how it's built. The session works on its own, so you don't need to have been to any other session in the series in order to attend this one. We will be discussing the national history of DSA, how it was formed, why, and what the organization has done in its 44 years of existence. We will also consider DSA from a structural perspective in relation to its democratic goals, and examine the role structure plays in creating and maintaining an equal distribution of power. We hope to see you there! The event will be held on Zoom. RSVP for the Zoom link.
