After months of organising, conversations, and collective effort, we gather not just to celebrate, but to stand in what we have built together. We will be joined by our hopefully newly elected Green Party councillors and candidates as we take this step forward as a community. This is about more than an election result. It is about people power, participation, and the future we are shaping together in Walthamstow. The setting reflects exactly that. A living community garden tucked behind Walthamstow Community Sauna. Food growing, polytunnels, a chicken coop, shared tables, and a stage for gathering. This is a space rooted in care, sustainability, and collective action. There will be time to connect, celebrate, and look ahead. You can also get involved directly with the garden through light volunteering if you want to be part of the work on the ground. A wood-fired pizza oven will be running throughout the evening with fresh pizzas available to buy. Refreshments will be provided, and you are welcome to bring your own alcoholic drinks. The garden is directly connected to Walthamstow Community Sauna, and you are welcome to book a session there as part of your visit.
