Protect the Salish Sea from Fracked Gas!

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

Fracked gas is threatening our communities, our waters and our climate. Join us to say NO to fracked gas proposals including the LNG proposal in Tacoma and the Methanol Refinery proposal in Kalama. The Department of Ecology can stop the World's Largest Methanol refinery from being built in Kalama THIS YEAR, and can take over the permitting process for the Tacoma LNG project to ensure more accurate environmental review, and better enforcement of existing laws. We have a climate crisis, and we need the State of Washington to declare a state of emergency around climate change. As such, we need permitting agencies, like the Department of Ecology, to re-think their role in this climate emergency. They are no longer an agency in charge of permitting fossil fuel projects, they are an agency in charge of protecting our communities from fracked gas! Join us in calling on the Department of Ecology to protect our Salish Sea from Fracked gas!
