	<description>Join PTU for an outdoor organizing movie night! *****Event is *NEAR* Pasadena Christian Preschool, but NOT ACTUALLY AT 1485 N Los Robles. Please contact Bee at brigitteLrooney@gmail.com for specific address.******* We&#x27;ll be watching an organizing related film (choices below, please fill out the poll in the RSVP form) in Bee&#x27;s backyard on Friday, November 22. **We will start the movie at 6:30p** Gather at 5:30p for food, chatting, and a brief discussion before the film. Important Info: Movie will be OUTDOORS! Indoor bathroom will be accessible (we ask folks to wear a mask when they enter the house, masks will be provided). It will be chilly, please come prepared - dress warmly, bring a hat and gloves, blanket, sleeping bag, etc. We will have some extra blankets. We will also have hot chocolate and tea (bring your own thermos/mug), and *potentially* hot dishes like soup/chili if people sign up to bring them! We will have a variety of seating options - patio sofa, camping chairs, folding chairs, cushions on the ground. If you have any convenient seating, feel free to bring it with you. Street parking available. Movie Options (note your preference in the RSVP!) Crip Camp (documentary, 1h46m, 2020, Trailer) | Disability justice and organizing. Down the road from Woodstock, a revolution blossomed at a ramshackle summer camp for teenagers with disabilities, transforming their lives and igniting a landmark movement. Naila and The Uprising (documentary, 1h16m, 2017, Trailer) | Chronicles the remarkable journey of Naila Ayesh whose story weaves through the most vibrant, nonviolent mobilization in Palestinian history -- the First Intifada in the late 1980s. Norma Rae (historical drama, 2h, 1979, Trailer) | Classic labor organizing film. A young single mother and textile worker agrees to help unionize her mill despite the problems and dangers involved. Pride (historical drama, 2hr, 2014, Trailer) | U.K. gay activists work to help miners during their lengthy strike of the National Union of Mineworkers in the summer of 1984. Content Warning: Please note, these films are either documentaries or historical dramas based on true events. Each film covers serious topics and may have a variety of triggers.
