This session will describe the current state of DC's electricity utility, how a publicly-owned municipality could lower rates, prevent shutoffs, and increase the shift to renewable energy, and how DSA's WePower DC campaign is organizing to bring about this bright future. Learn how the fight for public power will help us build power. This is a hybrid event. The in-person event will be at the Cleveland Park Neighborhood Library, Meeting Room 1.
