On Monday, members of DSA Jax, Jax Food Not Bombs, and other local orgs will meet in a small setting to learn about best practices when speaking at meetings--such as city council, school board, and townhall-style meetings--and how to craft an effective comment when time is limited and pressure is high. We will also do hands-on work to prepare comments for upcoming meetings. Everyone welcome! All ages. Guests encouraged. Non-DSA/FNB members welcome.
