Microplastic pollution, harm to wildlife, and environmental justice issues throughout its lifecycle are just a few of the serious concerns. Let's stand together and make our voices heard. The rally will take place on Tuesday, August 27th, at 5 PM, right before the city planning board meeting scheduled for 6 PM. It will be held in front of City Hall, where the meeting will take place. On August 27th, the city planning board will determine the environmental impact assessment for the project. They will either issue a positive or negative declaration. We want them to issue a positive declaration for this project that day and eventually deny the construction altogether. The plan is to rally beforehand and then go into City Hall to make comments during the public comment period at the beginning of the meeting.
