The future of Seattle is on the line: Right now our city is finalizing the comprehensive plan and transportation levy that will determine what housing and transportation gets built and who has access in the coming decade. We have an opportunity to build an affordable city with clean air, thriving businesses and communities, sidewalks, bike lanes, and transit in every neighborhood. The mayor has proposed plans that will keep housing unaffordable, promote inequitable development and limit sustainable transportation options. We can do better! Advocates have outlined what we need in the transportation levy and comprehensive plan. Help us celebrate our communities with speakers, performers, food, and activities and show the mayor and council that we demand a levy and comp plan that meets the needs of all of our communities.
