BACKGROUND: On June 17th, The Trump administration announced that it would be dismantling the 988 "Option 3" crisis hotline. PRIDE 988 receives more then 400,000 contacts a year. The news comes on the same day that the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Tennessee's gender affirming care ban.  These cuts would remove 220+ jobs from CWA-1180 members and more from crisis workers at other organizations.
