Become a Regina Abortion Support Network volunteer! This training is designed to prepare you for providing phone, email, and in-person support to those accessing abortion services in Saskatchewan. The training will cover the following topics: Reproductive justice frameworks What is trauma and what might it look like Understanding trauma in healthcare/system interactions Abortion procedures, preparation, recovery, and care Accessing abortion in Saskatchewan Care work for Abortion Support volunteer roles: scope, boundaries, and ways to engage Q&A w/ abortion providers This training is being offered on a pay-what-you-can basis. All payments collected will be used to cover the cost of hosting training, with any extra going to our abortion aid fund.
