Unisciti a noi per far sì che i nostri leader ne tengano conto e per esortare che loro mantengano la loro parola sull'azione per il clima. Chi ha creato quest'evento? Sono un americano che vive a Roma da sette anni. Sono molto appassionato delle questioni che circondano i cambiamenti climatici e sono piuttosto preoccupato dall'ostilità che l'attuale governo statunitense dimostra verso l'azione per il clima, ed anche dalla bassa priorità il nuovo governo italiano sembra di aver dato ad essa. Ho esperienze nell'attivismo tramite organizzazioni come Democrats Abroad Italy, Women's March Rome, e American Expats for Positive Change, ma vorrei usare questa piattaforma per formare una coalizione più ampia di persone e ONG in Italia che sono interessate a partecipare a questa giornata mondiale di mobilizzazione per il clima. ENGLISH: On September 8, thousands of rallies will be held in cities and towns around the world to demand our local leaders commit to building a fossil free world that works for all of us. Join us as we hold our local leaders to account and demand that they walk the talk on climate action. Who created this event? I am an American who has lived in Rome for seven years. I am very passionate about the issues surrounding climate change and I am very worried about the hostility that the current US government demonstrates towards climate action, as well as the low priority the new Italian government seems to have given it. I have experience in activism through organizations like Democrats Abroad Italy, Women's March Rome, and American Expats for Positive Change, but I would like to use this platform to form a larger coalition of people and NGOs in Italy that are interested in participating in this global day of climate action.
