Acting NOW on climate will: * Protect our community from oil spills, sea level rise, wildfire, droughts and flooding, fisheries collapse, and other serious consequences of climate change. * Support the human rights of the most vulnerable in our communities, such as the young, elderly, poor, and native Americans. * Create local jobs in energy efficiency, clean energy, and land stewardship. Speakers, art and entertainment, demonstrations on both land and water, and a beach barbecue are expected.
