DU Snowsports, TCD EnviroSoc, Trinity ZooSoc, Trinity Surf, Conservation Soc, TCD Fossil Free, and TCD Plastic Solutions have all teamed up with Stop Climate Chaos to talk about one big thing that affects us all. Climate change is here, it's a problem, and we should do something about it...but what exactly should we be doing? All summer we've seen record breaking temperatures all around the world, and right at home here in Ireland. We're seeing some progress (Fossil Fuel divestment anyone?), but we can do a lot more. Whether you're a seasoned climate activist who can recite all 17 Sustainable Development Goals from memory or a first year who "upcycles" empty beer bottles into house decor, this event is for you. In honour of Rise for Climate (https://riseforclimate.org/), an international day for acknowledging climate change and inspiring action to fight it, we've put together a conference and a bit of a party to celebrate how far we have come and to learn how far we have to go.
