This group aims to promote, celebrate, and build community around the fiber arts, including knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidering, felting, and needle-punching. This group is a way for members to develop fiber skills, mitigate burnout, and connect organizers who normally work in different realms. Overall, we believe having a fiber arts community strengthens our bonds as organizers and community members while curating a low-barrier space where organizers can exchange ideas and be creative. As a first meeting, we will discuss plans for skill building and projects for helping the community.
