Tired of your job? Feeling alienated and alone at work? Wish you had a union? Get a job with comrades! Philly DSA invites you to attend our Socialist Job Fair on Sunday, March 29th. This isn't your standard job fair. When billionaires are openly taking control of our government, rolling back workers' rights and civil liberties, and gutting public services, our only answer is to organize and fight back. This event is designed to help counter the authoritarian onslaught by growing the labor movement. Attendees will learn about the pipeline into active workplace organizing campaigns in hospitality, logistics, food/beverage, higher education, and healthcare There will be brief educational programming, followed by the opportunity to mingle with campaign representatives, ask questions, and discuss what "salting" (getting a job to help organize a union) or "peppering" (getting a job to help energize an existing union) looks like.
