Southeast Indigenous History Teach-In

	<thumbnail_url>https://can2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/events/photos/001/173/627/normal/DSC_0128.JPG</thumbnail_url>

This community education event is part of a national call to #TeachTruth. For too long, our textbooks and common historical narratives have denied our true history, and ignored the Indigenous perspective. We must come together as a community to educate ourselves and understand both the pain and the resilience of Indigenous communities on Turtle Island. In this 90 minute session, we will focus on the Southeastern region, and specifically Pleasant Grove in Alamance County. We'd like to thank our friend Mark Chilton for providing historical materials. Bring your lawn chairs!
