Stand with COTC Faculty

Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) reached a fair tentative agreement with their faculty union, the United Faculty/Central Ohio Technical College (UF/COTC). The tentative agreement became binding after it was ratified by the union and the COTC Board failed to act within the time limit that is set in Ohio law. But now, COTC is refusing to sign the contract and is illegally insisting that the union return to the bargaining table and accept concessions! The college is falsely claiming that SB 1 – the legislative attack on higher education – is the reason they won’t sign the contract, but SB 1 is not in effect until June 27. Join UF/COTC for a rally to stand up for worker rights in Ohio’s public colleges and universities. RSVP now and we will email you when the rally location is finalized!
