People will die as a result. Trump will soon propose $800 billion more in cuts to Medicaid, Food Stamps, and even more from housing and education, to help pay for $5.6 trillion more in tax cuts for the rich.   12 million people will be displaced by cuts to HUD alone. The People's Budget prevents cuts, increases funds for safety net programs and Social Security, invests $2 trillion in jobs and infrastructure, taxes the 1%, closes corporate tax loopholes, and cuts the Pentagon’s dangerous nuclear weapons buildup.   It will be offered as an amendment to the House budget in June.   Sign me up -- I'll be there on May 31!
