What's Happening? East Grand Avenue is subject to a 'zoning overlay', a set of additional rules that restricts building homes and businesses to a greater extent than the usual zoning rules. For more info see here and here. The Planning Commission worked on changing this, and after years of effort the proposal is finally in front of the city council. This is where you come in. We need your help - attend this meeting, to show the city council that people care about East Grand Avenue, and to advocate for some final policy tweaks that we have been working on!
