<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

We are participating in the AFT National Day of Action and the public kick-off of Rutgers’ campaign to “Get ICE Out of Schools” by holding a hybrid teach-in on “Breaking Rutgers Ties to ICE.” Guest speaker Eric Blanc, assistant professor at the School of Labor and Management Relations, will discuss the role major corporations like Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Hilton Hotels, and Target are playing in enabling ICE, the connections to Rutgers, and what can be done to break the ties. Hank Kalet, vice president of the Rutgers Adjunct Faculty Union will moderate the discussion. There will be time at the end for questions and discussion.
