Transgender visibility (alongside the active participation of cisgender allies) is one way that we build communities of greater safety, dignity, and freedom for LGBTQ folks all across Minnesota. In the South Metro, join trans, queer, and allied neighbors at Apple Valley Community of Christ from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31st. Together we'll enjoy live music from trans musician Mikko at 6:30 p.m., followed by show tunes at 7:30 p.m. from Jen Burleigh-Bentz and pianist David Lohman. Elsewhere in the building, enjoy delicious homemade food, play games, create affirming artwork, and contact legislators about the importance of supporting transgender Minnesotans. Note that while this event is happening at a church, people of all backgrounds and identities are welcome just as you are.
