He was a VA ICU nurse who died protecting and advocating for others. We are gathering to celebrate his life and life's work, mourn his murder, process the continued terror perpetuated across our country by ICE. We will also honor the tragic intersectionality of this moment, where a nurse lost his life in the streets while the nurses of this city picket the corporations that are mistreating their essential workers and putting profit over people. We will gather on the sidewalk in front of the Manhattan VA. We will have some candles, but ask that you bring your own light sources if you have them already.
