On Thursday, 11th September at 7 pm, we'll be holding our Annual General Meeting at The Royal Hotel, Ablewell Street, Walsall, WS1 2EL. This is a great opportunity to get Walsall Green Party moving again and have your say what happens next. The meeting needs to elect a new Committee to help run the local party. As a minimum, that means electing people to following roles: Local Party Contact (acts as a point of contact for enquiries) Local Party Co-ordinator (keeps the local party running and chairs Committee meetings) Treasurer (looks after the local parties finances) Nominating Officer (certifies Green Party candidates) In addition to those core roles, there are also option Committee posts for the following: Secretary (taking and distributing minutes of meetings and other admin) Membership Officer Press Officer Social Media Officer If you think you'd like to do any of these roles, or would like some more information, please put yourself forward by emailing karl.macnaughton@greenparty.org.uk If you'd rather have a chat about the roles and learn a bit more about what they are first, you can call Karl on 07800 918 651.
