Come along to our initial event - it's an informal social evening to meet and greet, make connections, hear from experienced members about canvassing and organising, and swap stories of local issues and potential solutions. We'll meet in the garden of The Beacon in Aspley. We know that a pub is not everyone's first choice (the event organiser himself doesn't drink!) but one of the issues we've identified with the area is a lack of better venues.
