Wade – the landmark Supreme Court decision which guaranteed the right to choose and ensured that reproductive rights are protected by law. Since then, the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade – opening the door to statewide bans and subsequent rulings that will harm Black people disproportionately. This decision is one of several decisions which were designed to limit our self-determination in service of a white supremacist agenda. To make matters worse, Black women, trans, and gender-non-conforming people already face significant barriers to obtaining quality reproductive health care. There's no reason why we should be disproportionately denied resources, services, and information needed to make personal decisions regarding reproductive health.
