We want to stand a candidate in all constituencies in England and Wales. Candidate School will provide you with the information and support you need to understand what the role involves and what you will be called upon to do. You will have the opportunity to hear from our candidates that have the best chance of becoming our next MPs. They will talk about why it is so important that we focus on winning key strategic seats but still offer everyone the chance to vote Green, no matter which constituency they live in. Many members have stood as candidates in previous general elections and they'll be sharing what they learned from their experiences too. On the day, we will cover: training on how to handle media interest and interviews hustings and how to approach them how to communicate our policy and messaging the differences between standing in a local election vs general election You will also have the opportunity to put your questions to our elections and communications team, to help address any concerns you have about standing as a candidate in a parliamentary election.
