As the cost of living continues to rise and wages stagnate, there are only so many hours in a day we can spend working to afford the next rent hike. Many of us who have grown up and lived here our entire lives are being priced out of town. Property owners and investment firms that can outbid any prospective homebuyer have pushed the median price of a house in Brunswick up to $650,000. We don't plan on using a home as an investment, we plan on using it to live. For a future that we can afford to be a part of, we need to get organized and advocate for our interests.
