AAOP, along with 26 Minnesota-based Asian-specific community organizations, have come together to condemn all acts of harassment, discrimination and bias against our Asian community, and call for more bold leadership and actions to protect all communities. Linda Her, Executive Director of AAOP states, “Discriminatory language such as ‘Chinese virus’ is misleading and xenophobic. It pits us against one another, further dividing us in a time of crisis when we need to work together and address the systemic issues that led to this pandemic.
