So, we’re gathering petition signatures so the city can hold a a referendum (a public vote) on rent stabilization. Rent stabilization would limit how high landlords can raise the rent each year. In order to hold a referendum, we must get 10% of the city’s registered voters to sign a petition. Our goal is 6,000 signatures! However, the petition is paper-only--- so we are collecting contact information for those who wish to sign. This form is not the petition.
