The International Affairs Working Group spearheads Connecticut DSA’s international solidarity work. Currently, the working group focuses on ending the Cuban embargo and normalizing relations between the United States and Cuba, and supporting Palestinian liberation and ending the zionist occupation as its the two key campaign issues. The working group takes on the responsibility of organizing and leading campaigns to shift material support for Cuba and Palestine; developing coalitional relationships with other organizations within and outside of the U.S.; showing public support for nations and peoples in struggle; organizing political education events; and advising other working groups on issues that intersect with our internationalist work. We meet every other Monday 8.30-9.30 pm on Zoom. Sign the forma and an organizer will contact you.
