Join the Mis/Disinformation Working Group

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

Across Canada, false and misleading information is increasingly making local climate action more difficult. We know this can place elected officials in difficult positions - countering misinformation in real-time and navigating polarized community conversations. The goals of the working group are to: Share practical strategies and resources for recognizing and responding to mis/disinformation. Support local elected leaders in building confidence for challenging public conversations. Create a collaborative space to exchange experiences and workshop solutions with fellow elected leaders. Use the form located on the right to sign-up.
