We’ve been organizing since 2003 and run a high-powered field canvass program, combining meaningful conversations at the door with analytics. We’ve got the highest persuasion rates in elections at the lowest cost, according to experts. The Working America Education Fund is a sister organization to Working America that is specifically focused on educational issues relating to the economy and its impact on working families. We are embarking on an aggressive strategy to (continue to) defeat Trumpism and win back our democracy. Join us! Two central questions drive our work: 1. How can we decrease the number of people willing to back a fascist? 2. How do we increase the power and resilience of the progressive movement? The goal of our volunteer program is to help answer these two questions. We will nest this work in strategic geographies to maximize future impacts on electoral contests. By meeting people where they’re at - connecting on the issues that matter most to working people - we succeed in not only building relationships with folks who aren’t hearing from progressive sources, but also by making meaningful gains on a variety of economic, gender, and racial justice issues. Our campaigns will focus on building attachment with Working America and growing support for collective bargaining. We'll use tactics best-suited to the specific campaign outcomes we seek, and we'll continue to test and improve each tactic we use. This work ensures that when it’s time for major actions and elections, we will know what works best and we’ll be ready to implement at scale.
