Classes include basics of Marxism such as Dialectical & Historical Materialism, Political Economy, Socialism—both Scientific and Utopian, Fascism, History of the national and Texas CPUSA, CPUSA Program, Questions and Comments and theoretical and practical materials. There will be informal pre- and post-tests at the start and end of the weekend for participants to see how much they've learned, as well as food, music, and lots of opportunities to socialize and discuss with people who share our vision of a better world through Socialism. Schedule: Starts on Saturday, August 1, at 11 AM. Saturday entertainment/Music. Continues on Sunday at 10 AM and finishes Sunday at 4:30 PM. Light food will be provided. Overnight Lodging: (4) air Mattresses and a bedroom are available at the class site. Please bring your own bedding and the overnight things you need.
