If Uber and Lyft are successful, this kind of law will pave the way for ALL JOBS becoming "gig-ified", so we have to kill this bill. They succeeded in doing this in California and now they are trying it in our state, so we need to shut them down HARD. The Merrimack Valley neighborhood group is an important part of Boston DSA because of our location, and we think this campaign is the perfect way to kickstart the revitalization of DSA's presence in the Merrimack Valley! If you're tired of campaigning for politicians who let you down, this is the campaign for you! We are campaigning for an issue that affects the entire working class, regardless of race, gender, education, or immigration status. This campaign has the ability to unite working class people across all different kinds of imaginary divisions, demonstrate our shared destiny, and build our capacity to challenge the capitalist class. As the weather warms up, we can pair these actions with social gatherings, grabbing food or drinks and enjoying the weather after an action.
