My career for the past 23 years has had me working almost every weekend, taking me out of the calendar of many events that I would attend, but I had to work. Most activist events are on weekends. I am a member of FFRF.org for years, NOW for a couple years, ACTBlue for several years, donated thousands of dollars to planned parenthood, Center for Reproductive Rights, And many other groups. I have written dozens of letters, emails and made hundreds of phone calls to my representatives over the past 20 years to express my views on issues and to ask tough questions (even last week to Gus Bilirakis on the Mueller investigation) I have appeared when I could, at town halls, meetings on issues and generally pursue these meetings with representatives and almost always choose to speak every time about the things I care about.
