Open letter to the BankVic bargaining team

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

We, the employees of BankVic, call on you to protect our Rostered Days Off (RDOs) and extend the eligibility of RDOs to more staff. RDOs are not just a benefit, they are essential for maintaining a healthy work-life balance and in supporting BankVic’s values of caring for employees. By ensuring that all staff have access to this important entitlement, we can better engage in our communities and recharge to serve our members effectively. The current eligibility threshold creates inequality among employees, which contradicts our values of unity and common purpose. Every team member deserves the opportunity to recharge and participate fully in both work and life. RDOs are a key part of our work culture at BankVic and a major reason why many choose to work here. We urge you to withdraw your proposal to pay out RDOs for eligible staff and instead preserve and expand this crucial entitlement for all employees. Sincerely, BankVic staff
