The demands of the education workers center around being able to afford to live in Los Angeles, improving classroom conditions and student:counselor ratios, and protecting our immigrant students. The district has over $5 billion in reserves and has spent over $10 billion in outside private contracts over the last four years and will not bring a real deal to the table for the 70,000 educators who are walking out. How Do We Show Up?
