Within and throughout this struggle, we will articulate and defend the idea that true human liberation is impossible under capitalism. We seek social change which extends democracy into all aspects of life -- social, political and economic. The socialism we fight for is profoundly democratic, feminist, and anti-racist and we intentionally build that community within our group. This is the struggle for socialism. We are open to all members of the University of Chicago as well as the broader Hyde Park and Woodlawn community (unless you're a capitalist).
