Volunteer to support public education champions

This year’s first-ever school board election for all 21 seats couldn’t be more crucial. Meet the candidates who want your support on July 8 at CTU Center. Our public schools stand at a crossroads. CPS delivered school budgets this spring that include over 800 educator cuts and would take critical resources from our students who need them the most in the vast majority of schools. Billionaires are spending mountains of money on school board races to threaten our schools with closures and even more cuts. While our state leaders in Springfield consider a summer session for Big Tech and billionaire team owners, what’s really needed is an emergency session to fund our schools throughout the state. We need public school champions leading CPS to win the revenue and support our classrooms need! As school board candidates hit both the streets and the airwaves to push agendas and vie for voters, our work will make the difference between a school board that fights for students and communities and one that takes orders from the city’s corporate elite.
