Welcome to join CAPCA

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

Please fill in this form if you’d like to be a participant on the world’s very first Creative Approaches to Practical Community Advocacy (CAPCA) Course People with Down syndrome have a variety of skills and challenges. We’d like to make CAPCA available to all, but we understand that in-depth conversations (especially on Zoom) aren’t for everyone. With the right support, though, we’ve found that people can often do more than expected. We believe anyone can learn to be a leader. A note to supporters: This course is for people with Down syndrome. Supporters attend to help them fully participate, in ways that work for each. (We don’t judge. In fact, we’re looking to learn from you.) For instance, literacy is not required. You can fill in this application for the person you support. Just engage them as much as appropriate in the process.
