Here's a brief overview of the differences between Working Groups and Committees: Working Groups (WGs): Project-based, member-driven spaces focused on organizing campaigns, research, study groups, and specific issue-based work. These are more flexible and can evolve over time. Committees: Internal support and advisory bodies that strengthen AfroSoC’s infrastructure by developing toolkits, trainings, communications, and other internal support, by and for local affiliates. Each WG/Committee must have at least 12 interested people to be formally established. Leadership positions (up to 4 co-chairs per WG/Committee) will be available to help facilitate and sustain the work.
