We want to increase the number of food-bearing plants in DC (both for humans and other wildlife), draw a bit of that excess carbon out of the atmosphere, encourage people to re-evaluate their relationship with the land and with nature, and make DC a little more beautiful in the process. There are lots of ways you can contribute to our planting initiative on April 22, which are described in detail on xrdc.org/planting. This form relates specifically to our planting teams for Earth Day. On April 22, we'll have several small teams moving around the city throughout the day planting trees and other useful plants. These teams will be observing all best practices for avoiding transmission of Covid-19. Fill out the form on the right if you're interested in joining one of the teams.
