The Hawkinsville Democracy Center has been distributing food to the local community once a month. They have been asked to "do more" and now they are opening a food pantry 4 doors down from the Democracy Center. Democracy Centers turn infrequent voters into voting rights advocates by addressing the "pain points" and showing community members how voting not only empowers them but can be life changing.
