In spite of their attempts, our union has been able to win major victories against the company – both in contract negotiations and on the shop floor! We know that baristas cannot wait any longer for a contract which guarantees us livable wages, protections from harassment, consistent schedules, and a democratic workplace: So far our union has: Won “just cause” protections from discipline from the company Secured protections for immigrant workers & strong anti-discrimination and harassment language Won the ability to take unpaid time off Kicked out an abusive manager from the Seaport location And more! Crucially, we have won these concessions from the company only after taking action, ranging from walkouts to marches on the boss. Blue Bottle has shown that they’re able to concede to our demands, but only if we force them to through action. Now we need YOUR HELP!
