As both a Sandy and an Ida survivor who has been displaced by multiple storms, it blew my mind to learn that there was a group that had been fighting for communities like mine for years. Amidst a broken system that tells us we need to fight with each other over scraps, NJOP is bringing people together for the solutions and resources that all of us need. That's why I'm invested in us - and asking others to do the same. When we build people power we gain the ability to determine for ourselves what kind of a New Jersey we want to see flourish.
