Today, we invite you to support our fundraising campaign for this program. With a goal of raising $50,000, we aim to expand our reach and bring these unique labor educational opportunities to more students: In 2025, we were able to: Grow the program nearly 300% from 30 students in 2024 to 89 students across four programs throughout Northeast Ohio. Expand the accessibility of Collective Bargaining by hosting programs in the Mahoning Valley, partnering with Cuyahoga County Community College Pre-apprenticeship Program, and providing technical assistance to partners in Central Ohio to host their inaugural regional program. Increase community participation including Starbucks Workers United, the SB1 Fight Back campaign, UH Concerned Physicians and nearly 20 volunteer coaches from across the labor movement. Your contribution will help grow the impact of our Collective Bargaining Program. As the labor movement and our communities face unprecedented attacks, it is clear that we will only get what we are organized to demand. This training provides an essential foundation for students to develop their voice at work, at home, and in their communities. Support Northeast Ohio’s Collective Bargaining Program as a sponsor: $10,000 supports a cohort of twenty students to participate in the high school collective bargaining program. $5000 supports the purchase of breakfast and lunch at all of the collective bargaining program cohorts. $2500 supports a professionally trained mediator participating in bargaining negotiations when students come to an impasse. $1000 supports the printing of materials from a local union print shop for the summer bargaining programs. $500 supports one student participating in the high school collective bargaining program Any amount that is meaningful to you will go a long way in the fight for workers By investing in these emerging labor leaders, you are strengthening our community and the labor movement! In solidarity, Grace Heffernan
