SUNY has a vital role to play in combatting climate change. With more than 2 million students and staff at its campuses, as well as oversight of 40% of all state buildings, SUNY is a logical choice to be a leader in environmental policies and actions in New York. To meet the goals of the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act, SUNY needs to step up and be a part of the solution.
