They can cause delays and are a safety risk. But once the plane is in the air, there is not much that can be done. That's why Unite are calling for stronger measures to deal with aggressive, disruptive and unruly passengers in airports and to deal with the problem before they reach the gate and board the plane.   Our 'Abuse doesn't fly' campaign is gaining some support in Government but we need your help in highlighting this issue to your MP. MP Peter Lamb has submitted an Early Day Motion (EDM) to draw attention to this issue and campaign. Urging the the Government to support the introduction of a traffic-light banning system for repeat offenders, stronger physical security measures for the protection of staff, and access to counselling services for workers suffering mental health impacts as a consequence of such abuse. Please could you spare 1 minute to email your MP letting them know about this issue and ask they sign the EDM.
